Determan Named 2022 Marcia Katz Scholarship Recipient
EECS senior Kelli Determan has just taken another step toward her goal of becoming an electrical engineer. She has been selected as the winner of the 2022 Knoxville Association of Women Executives (KAWE) Marcia Katz Scholarship, awarded annually to women engineering students with the potential to be future executives.
CURENT Hosts IFEC 2022 Competition
The Center for Ultra-Wide-Area Resilient Electric Energy Transmission Networks (CURENT) hosted the IEEE International Future Energy Challenge (IFEC) 2022, the largest international student competition in power electronics for innovation, conservation, and effective use of electrical energy, in the Min H. Kao Building on July 27-29.
