Associate Vice Chancellor and Director of the AI Tennessee Initiative at the University of Tennessee Lynne Parker is no stranger to accolades, having earned recognition from several well-respected groups and societies.

Now, she has been named the Computing Research Association’s (CRA) 2023 CRA Distinguished Service Award winner for her efforts to advance computing and her breakthroughs in computing research.

In making the announcement, CRA noted Parker’s role in “leading national artificial intelligence (AI) policy across the executive branch and fashioning key strategic policies in support of AI research, development, and deployment.”
