The Technology Group’s Engineering and Projects provides technical and management leadership in the design, construction, and commissioning of test systems and facilities and works with the Operations Segment to ensure the TG Vision to be the premier full service company for advanced systems and technical facilities.

Manages the procurement process, including planning, development of bid lists, order formation and issuance, claims resolution, administration and closeout in support of projects or other operating requirements. Participates in or leads project supply management strategy development and implementation and may be assigned as the supply management project lead. Identified and advises project and supply management of commercial risks inherent in quotations and purchase orders. May participate in internal and external supply management presentations.

Will work with and sometime direct others in Supply Management regarding implementation and support of Supply Management programs and procedures, including compliance with Federal Government procurement requirements for prime contractors and their subcontractors. Works with personal and material control to plan and support Supply Management execution for the project. Coordinates with Project Management, Construction Management, Business Development, Legal, Finance and Insurance during project execution.

Commits, spends and controls client and company dollars within limits established in company procedures. Assures compliance with Supply Management policies and procedures and brings any non-compliance issues to the attention of management with recommendations on correct actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a BA degree and 6 years of experience.
  • Candidate must have a strong background and experience in and is knowledgeable of the Federal Acquisition Regulation as well as carrying out various procurement-related activities in compliance with Government purchasing systems.
  • Candidate should have complete understanding and application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards.
  • Candidate should be proficient and experienced in the formation and administration of purchase orders.
