This year’s 4th Annual Women in STEM Research Symposium hosted by Pipeline: Vols for Women in STEM will be held on Thursday, March 1st, and the call for abstracts and volunteer judge sign-up are now open at their website. Abstracts are due February 9.

This free, full-day professional conference aims to highlight the broad array of scholarly contributions being made by self-identifying women in any science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field via poster and oral presentations and is open to the public. Awards for best poster and oral presentation will be given based on the results of volunteer judges. The day’s events will also include a keynote lecture given by Mary Miller – UT alum, engineer, and Acting Assistant Secretary of Research and Engineering of the U.S. Department of Defense, and a panel discussion with local women in STEM.

More information about the symposium is available here.
