If you are experienced in setting up email clients, the following information should help you in setting up your client for UT EECS email. We currently support both the IMAP and POP protocols for accessing your EECS email from virtually anywhere. We also provide an SMTP server with SMTP-authentication for those traveling with laptops, etc.

Note: EECS mail servers do not support the Microsoft Secure Password Authentication (SPA) protocol.
The EECS IT staff currently provides configuration information for the following email clients. Some programs may run on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux platforms. Configuration should be essentially the same across platforms. For more help, please contact EECS IT Support.
