Hardware Information

The suite of systems, collectively known as the “adas”, are an on-going project that is updated and extended periodically. As a result, there is no unified set of hardware.

  • Models: Dell PowerEdge Servers
  • Processors: 2.8-3.0 GHz, Intel Xeon Processors (8-24 Processor Cores)
  • Memory: 16-32GB
  • Operating System: CentOS 5 and RHEL 6 – x86_64

Configuration

At present, the adas exist in two sets. There are

  • New Style:  ada[1-8].eecs.utk.edu (RHEL 6)
  • Old Style:  ada[9-12].eecs.utk.edu (CentOS 5)
