The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics at Roanoke College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer Science, starting in August, 2018. A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related area is required. The successful candidate must have a strong interest in teaching a wide range of undergraduate courses in a liberal arts setting. Evidence of potential for highly effective classroom teaching is required. Candidates should also demonstrate their future commitment to research (their own scholarly focus as well as potential projects for undergraduates) and publication.
