Electrical Engineering & Computer Science-Pay Grade 36, - Salary DOE&Q - Full Time -This position provides helpdesk support. The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems, place service calls with vendors and install/update operating systems and applications. The successful candidate will also log events in call tracking system and maintain on-line documentation. Associates degree in technical or customer service field required or the equivalent of appropriate experience is acceptable. At least two years experience helpdesk/troubleshooting support required with strong emphasis on providing technical support to end users. Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend work. Experience with Windows workstation/server, Linux, Mac OS X, open source software, computer hardware maintenance, and IP networking is required. This is a Term position.
