EECS Graduate Programs

Applying to the EECS Graduate Program is a two-step process. First, you must apply to the UT Graduate School through the Office of Graduate and International Admissions. Please consult their Admission Requirements and Procedures as well as their FAQ for details.

The second step is submitting your online application directly to the
EECS Department. For our online application you will need the following:

• PDFs of your resume, personal statement, and other relevant information ready to upload
• contact information for three, and only three, references

You do not need to mail any materials to our department–just upload the required documents for the online application. After initially processing your application, we will contact your references and they will be able to submit reference forms online or by mail.

If you have already submitted an application package by mail to our department, there is no need to submit the online application. We will enter your application into our online system upon receipt and send you an email confirmation as soon as we finish our initial processing.

Be sure to keep a record of the confirmation code that you receive upon completion of your application. Please reference it when contacting us with any questions.
