EECS Professor to chair the 2021 IEEE International Future Energy Challenge

Hua "Kevin" BaiKevin Bai, associate professor of electrical engineering, has been selected to chair the 2021 IEEE International Future Energy Challenge, to be hosted by CURENT.

The goal of the Challenge is to design a solar-powered microgrid using the CURENT hardware test bed. Eventually, eight student teams will be invited to CURENT in July 2021 for the final competition. The competition is sponsored by 3 IEEE societies: PES, PELS, IAS. Congratulations, Bai!
